This is a shock?
"Found guilty in a court by a jury of my piers the Judge has cast his sentence That which finds me here" From - The Brink by DB What I find humorous about this is all of the celebs rallying behind him, and Jamie Fox takes the case because in my eyes his head has gotten so large that a hat the would fit has never existed. He thought he could make a difference. If you examine the dubious accomplishments of Tookie, co-founder of the crips and quadruple murderer, you have to ask yourself, would a liberal left-wing governor have granted clemency? I don't think so, and with the fact that Arnold is governor, who'se head by the way entirerly eclipses Jamie Fox's, a right wing president wanna be had the decision to make, it is absolutly no surprise to me. Just remember, if Tookie repented, all of his mis-deeds have been forgiven and he is in Heaven. Not bad for a man like him. DB ![]() |

I do not believe in the death penality for the very reason mistakes can be made and an innocent man can die. Too many human hands are involved in the decision making and too many personalities flare. I believe the executioner is as guilty of killing as the killer himself. Especially if a mistake is made...how do we always know the person on death row is guilty?

Well that is entirely different issue. I agree that it is way too easy to execute an innocent man, and that personalities or politcal agendas can warp the process. Arnold definately let his political agenda cloud his decision in this instance. He must maintain his tough guy bravado, and show no mercy.
I am not to sure about the executioner being as guilty, because that may be a person doing their job, an unpleasent job. It may haunt that person in their dreams every night for all we know. But if you mean the court system and Judge as executioner I can see your point more clearly. Dain ![]() |
