I

Flowers sway side to side,
Like dancers twirling in the snow,
They flow along in the grass,
Like a log in chilled water.
The new blooms in the flowers
Are so small, they look like tiny peas.
The tulip petals fly off in the wind,
Swirling in the air,
Like geese flying south.
Then they die, shriveled and withered,
Like a sick man so small in a bed.
When she walks, her footsteps crunch on the dead twigs,
She thinks of how beautiful flowers are,
Their stems as limp as a broken arm.
Then she thinks of next year,
When she'd be walking on the same dry dirt path,
Leading to a forest of colors.
She'll sit and watch pollen fly,
And bees buzz,
And say, "Love has made a rainbow of colors!"

Flowers flowers everywhere
And may she ask which one are you
And may you will all your beauty share
To make a garden very special and rare

A daisy lilac violet tulip daffodil or rose
Peony orchid gladiolus--you pick and be any that grows
To those who love flowers the aroma is the appeal
So let your fragrance be inviting--always be genuinely real

Color is an endearing feature
So to be picked for a bouquet
Be sure all colors of your life
Will capture the critics OK

A bouquet a bouquet with a beautiful hue
And would you please handle with care
An arrangement of many not just few
It seems to sparkle just like the dew

The beauty--fragrance--elegance you see
Be a flower if you dare
Then she thinks you will have to agree
There's no such question as "a flower to be or not to be"

Reared in love, sheltered from harm
Believing in all--to do them no harm,
Beautiful Children touched by stars
To allow things are good and not marred by scars.

Scars of dreams, fragments of fear
To be relieved when sleep is near.
Angels weep when little ones cry
Small ones aching, their world gone awry.
Shattered minds, torn hearts
By sick ones with No hearts.
Love gave them peace and ease of heart
To fade each day when the world seems dark.

Give them the hands and quiet voices
To guide and help with daily choices.
Become again Child of Pain
A Flower lifting its face to the rain.
Growing in beauty, gentleness and grace
To show the Angels a soul touched by Grace.
